In the House of Love and Prayer we are happy when you come and we miss you when you leave.

The House of Love and Prayer is a spiritual center where people with broken hearts come from the whole world to fill their souls with joy and sweetness through music, learning, meditation and prayer.

Here all your questions are legitimate; you may find answers for some, and we will pray with you that you find your own answers for the other ones. With the help, learning, and wisdom of the bible and the kabbalah, we will search together for answers to your questions.

We are students of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, and we try to live up to his legacy of love and kindness to all beings. Rabbi Carlebach, may his soul rest in peace, taught us that the greatest thing in the world is to do something good for someone else. For that reason, our center does acts of charity for the community.

The center is involved in:

• rehabilitation programs for youth at risk
• subsidized afternoon homework help for children from troubled families
• afternoon courses such as guitar, violin, science, and art for children who can’t pay for the regular youth center courses
• visiting ill, elderly and lonely people
• subsidized summer camp for kids from families who can’t pay

In the House of Love and Prayer our goal is to give everyone the feeling of home, even if you live at the other end of the world. Whenever you come here, you will feel at home. Here you will find friends who will be waiting for you whenever you come back to Israel.

We have friends from all over Israel and the world who choose to celebrate their simchas with us.

For us a bat mitzva is as important as a bar mitzva, so we do our best to make it a significant spiritual experience.

A chuppa by us is not just another chuppa where the rabbi mumbles the ceremony. We will work with you to create the chuppa of your dreams, as the chuppa is the most important part of the wedding. Your wedding will be a spiritual experience that will build the spiritual foundation of your home that will last forever.
